About Me

I am a veteran teacher of fifteen years, teaching predominantly elementary aged students. I am also a father to two amazing children (Blake 8, Ivy 4) who are constantly asking me to read to them! Through my experiences as an educator and a parent, Do Lions Cry? was developed. This is a story that all kids can relate to. The main character (Blake) is overcome with stress and anxiety about his upcoming race. After sound advice from his dad, will Blake have enough courage to complete his race?

Do Lions Cry? is only the first book! I am already planning on the next few in what I hope is an amazing series geared towards helping students (and parents) navigate the everyday struggles.
